It wasn't that difficult to adapt here, especially since we had visited the country previously and spent some time learning about the local history and culture. Our friends at BCM Scotland helped us with a good part of the process involving the arrival and subsequent adaptation to the Scottish dynamics. For our daughter, Maria Luiza, the challenge was greater. Although she mastered the language very easily, the adaptation at school presented itself as a major barrier in Maria's adaptation to the new reality. Some delicate situations, such as the
practice of bullying by some students, forced us to intervene in the situation in a direct way, even involving the school administration. Thank God, after this intervention, the situation today is different, and our daughter is completely adapted to the new reality.
God is taking care of every detail and the future of the mission here in Scotland looks promising. Let's wait for what the Father in Heaven has in store for us.
